CapHive is a full-stack intelligent technology platform for private capital markets. Funds, portfolios, deals and secondaries — one system of record, with AI agents built into it rather than bolted alongside. We help funds increase LP trust, manage complexity and create scalable, intelligent, institutional frameworks.
Private capital became a multi-trillion asset class. The workflow underneath it did not change much: commitments live in a spreadsheet, KYC packs travel by email, the waterfall is rebuilt by hand each quarter, and the investor statement is generated from a workbook that only one person fully understands.
Public markets solved this decades ago. Exchanges, depositories, clearing houses and market data systems became shared infrastructure, and everything built on top of them got faster and safer as a result. Private markets never got that layer. Every fund, every administrator and every family office rebuilt a private version of it on its own (or mostly didn't!).
CapHive is that missing layer. One ledger that holds investors, capital events, portfolio positions and transactions together — so a signature, a wire and a statement are the same event seen from different angles, and the numbers are current on a Tuesday, not eleven weeks after the close.
These are not slogans. Each one decided something concrete about how CapHive is designed.
A CRM for LPs, a data room for documents, a workbook for the waterfall and an email thread for approvals will always disagree with each other. Reconciliation between tools is not work anyone should be paid to do. Hold the data once.
Faster onboarding, cleaner books and reporting that arrives when LPs ask for it change the economics of a fund, not just the mood of the ops team. It is the argument in our note “Operational alpha: the game changer AIFs can't ignore”.
Read our insightsAn assistant that reads exported PDFs can summarise. An agent that sits on the live record can onboard an investor, analyse a portfolio or run a compliance checklist — with permissions applied and every action logged.
You should be able to export the full history — investors, capital events, positions, documents — in a usable format, whenever you want, without asking us first. Lock-in by inconvenience is not a business model we're interested in.
Moving a back office is only safe if it is proved rather than promised. Four things we hold ourselves to on every implementation.
Commitments, capital events, investor records and documents come across as they are — spreadsheets, PDFs and all. That work is ours, not yours.
One close computed both ways, side by side, until the numbers agree to the last decimal. Nothing goes live on a difference nobody can explain.
Your team talks to the people who build the product, on the channel they already use. No ticket queue between an operator and an answer.
Reporting deadlines, audit dates and fundraising windows set the roadmap order. Changes land before the quarter that needs them, not after.
CapHive was born from a simple observation: technology has transformed most aspects of our lives, and yet private capital markets — venture capital and private equity funds, SPV structures, multi-party transactions — are still largely managed in traditional ways, despite rising complexity and a rising number of participants.
We set out in 2022 with a team that brings deep experience in both private capital markets and capital-markets technology, to build products that address the intricacies of this segment rather than generalise past them.
Within two years of commercial launch we are live with multiple funds — helping them solve complex problems, handle large numbers of investors, institutionalise manual processes and execute multi-party transactions across jurisdictions. And we are just getting started.
As you go through this site, we hope you get a sense of the depth each product goes into to address the uniquely diverse requirements of private markets. We would of course rather show you — and hear where else you think technology could help.
